Undermount Basin
An undermount basin fixes below the countertop, so the counter runs straight into the bowl with no rim standing proud. Being able to wipe the counter straight into the basin is the benefit people notice daily.
It has to be planned together with the countertop, because the stone or quartz needs cutting and polishing to the basin shape before installation. We carry ceramic undermount basins from Aalto, Nobel and Vera Ceramica. If the countertop is already in and cutting it is not an option, an art basin sitting on top gets you there without touching the stone, and the vanity cabinets are where to start if the whole unit is being replaced.
