Ceiling lights are the base layer of a renovation lighting plan, and the two things that matter are spread and colour temperature. One central fitting lights a bedroom fine. A living room usually needs either a larger fitting or several smaller ones.

Colour temperature changes a room more than brightness does. Warm white reads comfortable in a bedroom, cool white reads clean in a kitchen, and several of our fittings switch between them. We carry ceiling lights from SKL-Luce, Illuminary and Luminous in round and square profiles. With a false ceiling, the downlights sit flush instead of hanging. Over a table a pendant does the same job with more presence, and the track lights let you re-aim it after the furniture moves.

What size ceiling light suits a room?

Diameter is on every product page, and the fitting should read in proportion to the room rather than the furniture under it. Bring your room dimensions and the team will size it with you.

Surface mounted or recessed?

A surface mounted light fixes straight to the ceiling and needs no false ceiling above it. Recessed fittings sit flush and need the depth to hide in. Which one is open to you depends on the ceiling you already have.

Are they dimmable?

Some models are and some are not, and each product page states which. If a dimmer matters to you, tell the team and they will point you at the fittings that take one.

How much does a ceiling light cost?
